For the price, the Holosun HS 407CO packs in a lot of features. Those features make it extremely easy to use, while battery life and redundant solar backup increase usage long-term. It'd be nice if the Holosun came with a better warranty, like the Vortex Venom (review here) but as is, the Holosun 407CO is a pretty fantastic value priced red dot.

Now that the optic has arrived, I noticed there really isn't any way to put the optic on to any of the provided mounting plates, since the studs on all of the plates prevent the optic from actually having a footprint to set on.

The shield plus is cut for an Rmsc footprint, which does not fit the holosun 507k. As of 11/7/21, there are no adaptor plates made specifically for this combination.
